Course, Rules & Regulations

  • D.M.S.E.H. Diploma of Medicine and Surgery in Electro Homeopathy (Certificate Course) is given to the successful students by Central Council of electro Homeopathic System of Medicine, West Bengal.
  • Duration of the course – 3 years academic and 6 months’ internship. (6 semesters for every six Months.)
  • Admission Norms & Eligibility Criterion
    • Qualification: H.S. or equivalents course passes from India.
    • Age not below than 17 years.
    • Admission to be made by selection of proper test.
    • Four passport size self-photocopies, Photocopy of Voter I. Card, Photocopy of Adhere Card, and Photocopy of S.C/S.T./OBC certificate for this category, photocopy of admit card, marks sheet, will be attached with application form.
  • All students should have the Registration under the CENTRAL COUNCIL OF ELECTRO HOMEO PATHIC SYSTEM OF MEDICINE, W.B.
  • Students should have ‘Identity Card’ to be provided by the College.
  • Students must abide by the rules & regulations of the College as the circulated by the College time to time & minimum 75% attendance is necessary to sit for Examination.
  • Proper education, educational tour & camp will be arranged by the College.
  • All examinations will be held under the Central Council of Electro-homeopathic System of Medicine, W.B. as per notice submitted [ time and dated.] Admit Card, Mark sheets, Registration Certificate will be issued by the Council. A student may expel from the college, if he/she is found guilty for his/her Activities & character.
  • Candidate securing 40 % for pass mark and below 50% marks will be placed in 3rd division and above 60 % marks will be placed in first division or class.
  • Candidate securing above 70% marks in each subject of Pharmacy, Materia Medica, and therapeutics will be passed with honors degree.
  • The candidate shall be eligible for appearing at the compartmental examination on payment of the prescribed fee and submission of application, who have failed is not more than two subjects at annual examination.
  • A candidate who failed at the annual preliminary examination in and who is eligible for appearing at the compartmental or supplementary examination, may be provisionally admitted to the next higher-class. He/ She shall however, have to pass the compartmental examination.

  • Subject: Pharmacy
    Total Marks – 200 [Written 100, Oral + Practical 100]
    Detail study of 115 drug substances (herbs), Posology (Electro-homeopathic Posology -its logic, advantages and disadvantages), Percolation, Zimple process, Cohobation, Krauss Method, Potentization and dilution (Its logic, science, evolution and scales.), Vehicles, Scales for preparation of drugs dilution, Pharmacological Action of Electro-homeopathic medicines, Abbreviations used in prescription writing. Foods, Poisons, cosmetics. Drug substance, Drug, Medicine, Remedy, Pharmacy. Pharmacology and Pharmacopoeia, Pharmaco-dynamics and other related terms used in relation to the subject.   • Subject: Materia Medica
    Total Marks – 200 [Written -100, Oral + Practical- 100]
    Basic of Materia Medica, Electro-Homoeopathic Materia Medica, Medicine: Scrofoloso group, Canceroso group, Angioitico group, Febrifugo group, Pettorale group, Vermifugo group, Venerio group, Linfatico group, S- Lass. Synthesis Application of all medicine.

    Total Marks – 150 [Written- 100, Oral - 50]

    A. Pettoral group, Electricites, APP, Pharmacological analysis of all medicine of electro homeopathy. Mode of action of all electro homeopathic remedies, all compound remedy, all injection, Lotion, Ointments, Case taking and Therapeutics, Practical or clinical.
  • Internship duration 6 months
    5 case taking and their treatment under supervision of college.
